About Turning

Turning is a type of machining,is the use of the rotary motion of the workpiece and the movement of the tool on the lathe to complete the cutting of the workpiece. When turning, the rotation of the workpiece is the main motion, and the movement of the tool is the feed motion. The lathe can process all kinds of rotary body surfaces and part of the end plane. The turning accuracy is generally IT11~IT6, and the surface roughness is Ra12.5~0.8μm.
